The Modeling Career: Skin, Character, and Height
The skin of a model must be beautiful, smooth, cared for, never glossy. Of course no one requires absolute perfection (make-up exists to cover small imperfections). The trick is a touchy subject for modeling career. Our advice, when you work without professional make-up, apply make-up is so light, taking care of your skin is compact and imperfections are hidden carefully. Take care around the eyes. Enhance your look is a fundamental mission.
For girls who dream of the catwalks of fashion is the fundamental requirement of the height. The minimum height for a fashion model is 1.70m (a few inches more would not hurt). The Association of Model Agents (AMA) has stated that the models should have more or less these measurements: 86-61-86 cm. Should also be high at least 172 cm . According to a major international magazine, however, in 2009 (during the main fashion events in Europe) the average height of the models was 179 cm . The mean measurements were 87-60-86.
The height requirement is not indispensable for the world of photography, advertising and performing arts, where at dizzying heights is often preferred a photogenic face. A model can also be 150 cm high, but it must be absolutely well proportioned and have the gamete the most streamlined as possible. As a size 40 normally is required (up to the 42).
The requirement that more than any other determines the success of a model is certainly the charisma. Combined, then, for good posture and character to a patient, persistent and helpful, it is certainly more important than many other physical requirements. The profession of modeling is not as easy as it may seem the less experienced: they can spend weeks and even months before you start to work with sufficient frequency and are therefore absolutely indispensable a good dose of patience and tenacity. Another requirement is absolutely essential seriousness.
